Ediorials - So, What Do You Want to Hear?, interventions on photography, photo on tracing paper, different sizes, 2021

So, What Do You Want to Hear? is Silvia Traistaru s first exhibition in her own studio (within the Malmaison Studios, which is also a project space), part of a series of (artistic) researches on nature observation, especially in the Bucegi Mountains, Romania.
The multidisciplinary team of the project is composed of: a graphic artist, photographer; a geologist, poet and translator of Old English, climbing instructor; a PhD in Physics, passionate about climbing and hiking and an artist, particularly interested in direct observation of nature and interspecies communication.
Three-quarters of the Earth s original forests have been cut. We must change the human beliefs and conditioning about our relationship to nature. A real massacre is taking place in the Bucegi Natural Park, whole plots of secular forests in the area have been cut down and the felled trees would have an average age of almost 200 years.
"We quietly radiate to you, and it is as if you must stop and listen to us" Dorothy Maclean
